It's back to school for me tomorrow, and I want to start off the year fresh with a sweet and simple blouse and skirt combo. I love the combination of navy and yellow, especially because navy brings out the vibrancy of yellow to make it pop. For the finishing touches to the outfit, I added a gold statement necklace, a navy satchel and matching ballet flats.

My favorite trend this season by far has been the peter pan collar. My polyvore set features a blouse and skirt combo with a rhinestone peter pan collar necklace. I love this necklace because it's not brightly colored or overwhelmingly bejeweled with sequins. It's simple and refined and adds just the right amount of glamour to the outfit.

I absolutely love the all-white trend. Its simplicity and elegance is a breathtaking, and its versatility is evident, as it can be worn many ways -- from casual cool to white tie formal. In this Polyvore set, I featured a white blouse and pleated shorts and styled it with brown sandals and a floral scarf for a subtle pop of color.

Selena Gomez and Ashley Greene are two stars that will be featured in Teen Vogue and Allure, respectively. I love them both because in addition to being Hollywood class acts, they have enviable style on and off the red carpet. Selena is often photographed wearing simple, chic outfits, exuding a mixture of youthful vibrance and refinement that characterizes her personality. Ashley, on the other hand, is the queen of street style and is often seen in simple dresses and tees paired with denim. The first Polyvore set features Selena in a chambray shirt, a floral tank, and a white maxi skirt. The second features Ashley in a pastel blue dress with a gold belt, purse, and ballet flats.

It's common knowledge that every girl needs at least one little black dress for that special night out. But this season, it's the little white dress that's been given significant attention. I've designed two Polyvore sets featuring both dresses with simple and sophisticated accessories. The first set features a gorgeous tulle dress, and I accessorized it with bow detailed pumps and a small heart necklace. The second set features a cream colored dress with platform Mary Janes and a peachy pink floral necklace.

With Olympic fever in the air (especially after the Fab Five won gold!), I felt the urge to design two Polyvore sets featuring "Olympic-themed" outfits. The first set is what a classic fashionista would wear. It consists of a navy polo shirt, white skinny jeans, gold boat shoes, and a red, printed scarf. The second is what a girly girl would wear -- a navy pleated skirt, a white silky button-down, a red satchel, navy wedges, and a pretty statement necklace and brown sunnies for embellishment.

Plum's the new "it" color for next season. Its intense boldness makes it easy for us to fall in love with it, and its rich, dark hue makes it a perfect match for fall. I've designed a Polyvore set that features a plum-colored tie neck blouse with a matching floral pencil skirt and heels. I styled it with a neutral purse.

colored denim

pastel pink

Since colored denim is a major trend this season, I wanted to feature it in Polyvore sets. The first set has a pastel pink palette and features pastel denim and a floral blouse. I chose a matching purse and printed heels to go with the outfit. The background is from Louis Vuitton's Spring 2012 campaign. I saw it once in an issue of Vogue and fell in love with it!

The second set features aqua colored denim with a matching printed blouse. So as not to overwhelm the outfit, I chose nude sandals, a nude chain purse, and aviators.

the chambray dress

the bohemian

In my opinion, the chambray dress is the most versatile summer essential.  When styled with the right accessories, this summer must-have can be worn while you're out running errands or even in London watching the Olympics! Today, I'll show you two different ways to style the chambray dress using two Polyvore sets I created.

The first look has bohemian tendencies, and my style inspiration was Dianna Agron. I accessorized the dress with a wide brim hat, a neon chain necklace, and gladiator sandals.

the classic

The second look is classic and refined, and my style inspiration is Pippa Middleton. This time, I chose square frame sunnies, a brown cross-body, and gold Sperry Top Siders.

the surf and sea

the surf and sea

Today, my Polyvore set features a striped maxi dress. I've been seeing many people wearing striped maxi dresses lately, and I have to say that I absolutely love this trend. In my opinion, black and white stripes were made famous by Chanel and have remained timeless since then. Since the dress is monotone, I added subtle pops of color with a beaded necklace and red espadrilles. And to balance out the color, I chose a straw hat and tote bag.

the maxi skirt: a summer essential

style inspiration: camilla belle

I made two Polyvore sets featuring maxi skirts and a versatile white button-down. For the first set, I featured Camilla Belle as my style inspiration. Her style is very classic, but when she takes risks, she opts for bohemian pieces.  I selected a patterned skirt in deep blue and completed the look with a white espadrille and a gold cuff. For the second set, I selected a nude pleated skirt, a tie-knot button-down, and nude gladiator sandals. I love this palette because it reminds me of the beach, and it shows how pretty neutral colors can be!

out and about

Today's outfit is inspired by Emma Robert's white blouse and denim shorts combo. I love her lightweight blouse and peep toe wedges. This look is great for running errands or going to class -- it's well put together but looks effortless. For me, this is definitely the quintessential summer look.

I took Emma's look and toughened it up, with green cargo shorts and a crisp button-down. I wore a pair of Mary Janes for subtle touch of femininity.

lady in lace

Today's outfit is inspired by a lace dress worn by Taylor Swift, who is one of my fashion inspirations! I love her classic, ladylike style. She definitely knows how to channel her inner southern belle!

She paired a lace dress with high-heeled oxfords and went without accessories for a minimalist look. Similarly, I opted for minimal accessories, but instead of oxfords I wore mary-janes.

I picked a purse to match the studs on my belt. It's a glittery item Taylor would approve of!

simple and casual

Today's outfit is inspired by a casual dress Rachel Bilson wore while out and about. I like how she accessorized the dress with a chunky brown belt and sandals.

Instead of a blue dress, I wore a solid black dress, but I stuck with similar sandals and a belt.

I wanted to keep things simple, so I wore a small, flower pendant necklace.

I like the small buttons on the sleeve and how the brown belt stands out against the black palette of the dress.

a sailing we will go

Today’s outfit is inspired by a modeling campaign by Express that I saw while perusing an issue of Vogue. I love how effortlessly chic the models looked in their nautical inspired outfits.

Instead of white pants, I opted for my pastel shorts because I was dying to wear them! This flowy shirt and the updo were perfect for today because we had our biggest heat wave of the summer so far!

My favorite parts of this look are the bun, headband, and sunglasses. The accessories definitely tied the whole look together.

dressing up a sundress

My outfit today is inspired by a Balenciaga floral dress worn by Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf.

Floral sundresses are one of the first things that come to my mind when I think about summer. They are sweet, cheerful, and quite easy to accessorize!

For a “stroll in the park” look, I chose to wear a belted sweater, pink wedges, and a simple pearl necklace.
