Selena Gomez and Ashley Greene are two stars that will be featured in Teen Vogue and Allure, respectively. I love them both because in addition to being Hollywood class acts, they have enviable style on and off the red carpet. Selena is often photographed wearing simple, chic outfits, exuding a mixture of youthful vibrance and refinement that characterizes her personality. Ashley, on the other hand, is the queen of street style and is often seen in simple dresses and tees paired with denim. The first Polyvore set features Selena in a chambray shirt, a floral tank, and a white maxi skirt. The second features Ashley in a pastel blue dress with a gold belt, purse, and ballet flats.

It's common knowledge that every girl needs at least one little black dress for that special night out. But this season, it's the little white dress that's been given significant attention. I've designed two Polyvore sets featuring both dresses with simple and sophisticated accessories. The first set features a gorgeous tulle dress, and I accessorized it with bow detailed pumps and a small heart necklace. The second set features a cream colored dress with platform Mary Janes and a peachy pink floral necklace.

sunday morning

I had a nice, leisurely Sunday morning -- I woke up later than usual, had brunch, and then took a walk down Cambridge Street to stop by and take some pictures. The rest of the day was spent indoors watching movies, and as the day came to the close, we decided to buy a cheesecake and decorate it with fresh fruit. I felt like wearing something classic and understated, so I wore this polka dot dress and added a belt and my collar necklace for a hint of glamour.

my week in pictures

{monday} - Watching the US Team compete in the Olympics inspired me to don my own Olympic "uniform" -- a black polo shirt, denim shorts, red nail polish, and my lace-trimmed cloche. #FabFive

{tuesday} - I finally decided to organize and hang my headbands up. 

{wednesday} - We ate at one of our favorite restaurants and ordered something new -- Parmesan Gnocchi, which was as pretty as it was delicious! 

{thursday} - These are some crab apples we passed by on the way home. 

{friday} - I finally tried a Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher from Starbucks. With real blackberries, this was a great end of the week treat!

Sure, many of their items are trendy, but if you keep an eye out,  you're bound to find some great staples to add to your wardrobe. With Olympic fever in the air (especially after the Fab Five won gold!), I felt the urge to design two Polyvore sets featuring "Olympic-themed" outfits. The first set is what a classic fashionista would wear. It consists of a navy polo shirt, white skinny jeans, gold boat shoes, and a red, printed scarf. The second is what a girly girl would wear -- a navy pleated skirt, a white silky button-down, a red satchel, navy wedges, and a pretty statement necklace and brown sunnies for embellishment.
